BEATRICE CORON describes her approach to designing "Bronx Literature," a faceted glass installation on the MTA Burke Avenue station. As the artist says about the germ of inspiration: "What do we do on the subway? And I was like, hmmm, books are the best way to travel; get's you somewhere quicker." She succinctly characterizes the stories of four noted authors of diverse cultural heritage, who lived in this NYC borough to convey its historical and cultural evolution.
