Bunny Yeager on photographing models in the Yucatan

Photographer BUNNY YEAGER speaks about her retrospective exhibition at the Dezer Collection in North Miami. Curator Helmut Schuster selected the photographs for this show, titled Retrospective to the Future, and it reaches back to the '50s, including periods in which her work went unnoticed. A top model and later a photographer for Playboy and other publications, Yeager's work, embodies "memories and dreams of the postwar generations." In this brief interview, Yeager focuses on a favorite series, shot under rapid-fire time constraints at a Mayan pyramid in the Mexican Yucatan. As she says, "the best is still to come!"

Thanks to artist and gallery manager, Onajide Shabaka and artist rep, Ed Christin for coordinating the interview.
