In South Florida, more and more artists are answering that question, explaining themselves through talks at museums, welcoming viewers into their studios for one-on-one encounters and conducting Web-based chats. Locust Projects, an independent arts space in Miami presents – among many other programs – a series of artist talks in which the artists determine both the topic and format.
