Gallery director Bernice Steinbaum and photojournalist Carl Juste describe the making of the exhibition "I Witness," which they co-curated. Presenting photojournalism in a fine arts context was their challenge, and they came to it with passion. Their heated selection process resulted in an exhibition that is varied and dramatic, presenting a range of contemporary - and timeless - themes.
